Overview
Screening questions help you identify applicants who meet your must-have requirements before reviewing full applications. Once you have added them to a job post, you can easily review each candidate's answers right from your Job Dashboard.
Helpful note: Choose only the questions that reflect your true must-haves to keep completion quick and your applicant pool strong.
View screening questions for your job
From your Main Dashboard, select the job title you want to review.
Click Settings, then Edit job, and scroll down to the Screening Questions section to view all questions currently attached to that job.
Click the Edit button to see whether a question is marked as a Must Have, or click View Criteria & Settings under any question to adjust that setting.
Helpful note: Must Have toggles help you instantly identify applicants who meet critical requirements. Candidates who miss the mark appear as Low Fit in your Job Dashboard.
Review applicant answers
Open your Job Dashboard and click any applicant's name to open their Candidate Profile.
Click into the Screening Questions section within their profile to view each response.
View the WISE Analysis tab, which goes into detail about a candidate's fit based on their screening responses.
Use Job Dashboard filters to view only applicants who meet certain criteria, such as required certifications or licenses.
Helpful note: Filters are especially helpful when sorting high volumes of candidates for roles that require specific credentials.
Common Questions
Can I customize the screening questions?
No. WRA provides a built-in bank of screening questions. Ask your account coach about options for adding custom questions.
Can candidates skip screening questions?
Candidates can choose whether to complete every step, including screening questions. You can always follow up with a reminder to encourage completion.
Can I reorder or prioritize my questions?
Yes. When creating or editing a job post, drag and drop your questions to adjust their order of importance. Prioritizing ensures your top questions appear first for applicants.
