Finding the most qualified candidates quickly matters. You can search applicant resumes by keyword within each job posting.
Helpful note: Resume keyword search helps you zero in on licenses, certifications, or experience mentioned in candidate resumes.
How to search by keyword
Open the job dashboard where you'd like to search through applicant resumes
In the top left corner of the job dashboard, locate the Search bar
Type in the keyword or phrase you want to search for (examples: Certified, Real Estate License, Manager)
The system filters the applicants and displays only those whose resumes contain your keyword
Candidate order remains unchanged (newest to oldest)
Important notes
Keyword search is job-specific and only works within individual job dashboards, not across all jobs
The search scans both plain text and rich text within resumes
Spelling must match exactly; partial words will not be recognized

Keyword search vs. applicant filters
Keyword search matches exact words or phrases that appear in resumes, and works best for finding specific skills, licenses, or certifications, for example searching for "CPA license."
Applicant filters work based on screening question answers, such as location or years of experience, and work best for narrowing applicants by required qualifications, for example filtering for "5+ years experience." Both tools are used inside a single job dashboard.
Common Questions
Can I search across all jobs at once?
No. Keyword search is available only inside individual job dashboards.
Does it recognize partial matches?
No. You must type the full word or phrase exactly as it appears in the resume.
What parts of the resume are searched?
Both plain text and rich text resume content are scanned for matches.
